Americans Wary of AI Impact on Workplace

As the world of web3 technology continues to expand, many Americans are wary of the potential impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on their livelihoods. A recent Pew Research report found that 62% of the 11,004 adults surveyed in the United States believe AI will have a major impact on American workers within the next 20 years.
The survey also found that 56% of respondents thought AI would have a major impact on the U.S. economy too. Only 13% of participants believed “AI will help more than hurt” American workers, whereas 32% thought the opposite.
The majority of those surveyed expressed concern that AI would lead to increased surveillance, data mismanagement and misinterpretations. 81% of participants cited worry that they would be watched “Big Brother” style, while 71% opposed the idea of AI being used to help make a final decision in the hiring process.
Nearly two-thirds said they would be most bothered by AI tracking their minute-to-minute movements, and around half cited potential frustrations around an AI keeping track of how many hours they’re at their desk and recording exactly what they’re working on.
Just under 40% of respondents said they were concerned AI would be used to evaluate their performance, and two-thirds said they wouldn’t want to apply for a job where AI was used to make hiring decisions.
For those that were in favor of AI being used in the hiring process, many believed the technology would help circumvent biases and discrimination based on age, gender and race. However, some participants feared AI may reinforce the same prejudices that companies are trying to eradicate.
The study was partly prompted by the “rapid rise of ChatGPT” — an AI chatbot released by OpenAI on Nov. 30.
As the web3 space continues to evolve, companies are increasingly turning to AI to help them with marketing, promotion, and selling of NFTs. NFT marketing agencies are popping up all over the place, offering services such as Twitter NFT marketing, NFT promotion, and NFT marketing strategies to help companies get the most out of their NFTs.
These agencies can also provide valuable insights into the NFT market, helping companies identify trends and capitalize on them. They can also provide advice on how to create a successful NFT marketing campaign and how to best promote and sell NFTs.
With the help of AI, companies can now create more “organic” generative art from robotic algorithms. This technology can be used to create unique and eye-catching visuals that can be used to promote NFTs, creating a more engaging experience for potential buyers.
As the world of web3 continues to evolve, it’s important to understand the implications of AI in the workplace and how it can be used to create a better, more efficient workplace. While there is still a lot of uncertainty surrounding AI, it’s clear that it has the potential to revolutionize the way we work, and the way we buy and sell NFTs.
